Peer Renter offers a platform for community rentals of various items, with a strong emphasis on security.
The PeerRenters application provides individuals and small businesses the opportunity to rent out a wide range of items to members of the local community in need of temporary use. Think of PeerRenters as akin to Airbnb for goods, offering a more secure alternative to platforms such as Craigslist by facilitating transactions between trusted, identity-verified individuals.
Users can access a multitude of rental options through the PeerRenters app, including bikes, cars, scooters, houses, rooms, sporting equipment, cameras, film industry gear, and many other possibilities.
For those with idle items gathering dust, listing them on the PeerRenters app is a quick process. By leveraging social media sharing tools, users can efficiently inform others about the items available for rent.
Renters can easily find what they need via the app's geo-location map view searches, as well as through keyword and category searches.
PeerRenters facilitates safe transactions between item owners and renters by enabling bookings through the app.

How It Works?
Transaction Flow:
Property owners incur a 10% fee on all successful rental and sales transactions facilitated through the app. The process is outlined as follows:
To book a rental or purchase an item via the app, users pay a 10% transaction booking fee (minimum $2) through PayPal. Additional payment methods will be introduced in future updates. Upon payment confirmation, the property owner receives a notification regarding the transaction booking fee. Subsequently, the property owner can either approve or reject the transaction.
If approved, both parties are connected through the app to finalize the deal. PeerRenters retains the 10% booking fee as commission while the remaining 90% (plus any applicable taxes) is settled by the renter/buyer directly with the property owner during their in-person meeting at the designated location.
In case of rejection by the property owner, the app notifies the prospective renter/buyer about the cancellation. The 10% transaction booking fee is then promptly refunded within 24-48 hours.
